WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE THERAPY?

Acupuncture is a common therapy originating from Asia and has been adapted with Chiropractic care. Acupuncture uses small metal needles ranging in lengths which are then activated through gentle movements from the practitioner or with stim.  Traditional Chinese medicine tells that there are more than 2,000 acupuncture points in the human body that are responsible for the bodies health. The needles are placed in these various acupuncture points to stimulate certain healing processes.

Acupuncture is used to stimulate the nervous system. This stimulation can cause the release of biochemicals or hormones that can stimulate the bodies natural healing capabilities. This stimulation can promote physical and emotional well-being. The National Institute of Healing shows that acupuncture is helpful in treating headaches, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, addiction, carpel tunnel, low back pain and other conditions.
